Fargo incident marks fourth police-involved shooting in recent weeks

A Fargo police officer is on paid administrative leave after an officer-involved shooting late Wednesday night. Officer Jacob Rued said he feared for his life before firing his gun, after police responded to a domestic disturbance around 11:30 p.m. at 3101 32nd St. S. The caller reportedly told dispatch that yelling, arguing and crying from a woman could be heard-she was telling a man to get out of the apartment.

Police have set up a road block along 32nd Street South in Fargo as they deal with a disturbance in that neighborhood. The call came in around midnight Thursday from the 3100 block of 32nd Street South, but police are not available to release details of the situation.
