Cedar Falls is located in northeastern Iowa. The city was founded in 1845 by William Sturgis and was originally called Sturgis Falls in honor of the first family to settle in the area. Missing Person: Cedar Falls police looking for 43-year-old man

The Cedar Falls Police Department is looking for 43-year-old Shane Allen Kellum, who was reported as missing by his family on the morning of July 23. According to police, Kellum was last seen at the Casey's in New Hartford at approximately 7:10 p.m. on July 22. He was expected to be at this Cedar Falls home at 8:00 p.m. that evening but did not arrive. Officers were able to locate his vehicle on Westbrook Street in rural Butler County on the morning of July 23.
