Davenport man dies after motorcycle crash in Moline

A Davenport man has died following a motorcycle crash that happened in Rock Island County on October 8. Law enforcement was called to the 4900 block of 7th Street in Moline at 7:20 p.m. Officials say 34-year-old Kyle T. DeCoster was riding a 2017 Hondo Motorcycle and was heading south on 7th Street when he lost control. After an investigation, officials say the motorcycle left the roadway, struck a mailbox and DeCoster was ejected.
