In Sunday night's severe weather, Davonne Mclurin and four of his friends were traveling on I-80, on their way back to the University of Dubuque, when their car got stuck in the snow near Townhall Road. City of Dubuque warns of sewer backup

A clog in a sanitary sewer along North Grandview Avenue at Kaufmann Avenue caused wastewater to spill out onto the street and into the city's storm sewers. City crews were told about the clog on Thanksgiving and were able to quickly unclog the sewer line and get wastewater flowing back into its rightful system.

One injured in Highway 52 rollover

An 81-year-old Dubuque, Iowa, man was injured Wednesday afternoon when his Kia Sedona went off the road and rolled into a ditch on U.S. Highway 52 in Preston Township. George Wagnild Running was northbound at approximately 2 p.m. when his vehicle struck a mailbox and hit a culvert before rolling over, according to a Minnesota State Patrol incident report.

Police: Man arrested after evading police in stolen car in Dubuque County

Officials say 30-year-old Wesley D. Brundage, of Maquoketa, was driving a vehicle that was reported stolen out of Maquoketa. On Wednesday, Nov. 21, officials with the Dubuque County Sheriff's Office attempted to stop the vehicle around 2 a.m. The vehicle refused to stop, according to officials, and a pursuit then began on Highway 61 near Cycle Club Lane at 90 miles-per-hour.
