County changes how it shares trail technician

Adam Moeding, natural resource/trail technician, will go to permanent full-time status as part of this change, after the Board of Supervisors approved Webster County Conservation's plan Tuesday. FD couple recovering after Saturday motorcycle crash

A Fort Dodge couple involved in a motorcycle crash at 32nd Street and First Avenue South on Saturday are recovering from their injuries at an undisclosed hospital. Lukas Daniel Brown, 21, and his girlfriend Scottie Lynn Daniels, 20, both of Fort Dodge, were seriously injured when a woman driving a 2017 Buick Envision reportedly pulled in front of the motorcycle they were riding on.

Dopita receives Iowa Hospital Association scholarship

The Iowa Hospital Association's Iowa Hospital Education and Research Foundation has awarded $182,000 in scholarships to college students from all parts of Iowa. Among those receiving a $3,500 scholarship is Angela Dopita, of Fort Dodge, who is studying nursing at Briar Cliff University.

Two hurt in SUV, motorcycle collision

Koller was driving the 2017 Buick Envision north on South 32nd Street when, according to the accident report, she pulled in front of the southbound motorcycle to turn west onto First Avenue South. The driver of the motorcycle, Daniel Brown, 21, of Fort Dodge, and a passenger on the bike, Lynn Daniels, 20, of Fort Dodge, were both seriously injured and transported to UnityPoint Health - Trinity Regional Medical Center.

The Webster City Congregate Meals is having a chicken noodle dinner as a fundraising event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Congregate Meals in the Senior Center Building at 749 Second St. in Webster City The menu will include chicken noodles, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, biscuits, and dessert.
